Team-Building Talbots Help Local Food Pantry

This is what it looks like to be a Talbot off the field!
The Hampton Boys' Lacrosse team spent time on Friday, Feb. 21, engaged in a service learning project at North Hills Community Outreach. NHCO is a nonprofit interfaith organization that addresses the needs of individuals and families in crisis, hardship and poverty in northern Allegheny County.
Every year, the team visits NHCO to assist the food pantry coordinator in reorganizing the pantry shed. All of the food is moved out, then sorted, separated and reorganized, and moved back in for safe storage until needed.
Not only is the project a great way to help an organization that serves our community, but it is a great team-building exercise as way.
What a great day to be a Talbot!
