Hampton Students Inducted Into NTHS

On March 20, five Hampton students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) during a special ceremony at the A.W. Beattie Career Center.

The National Technical Honor Society currently serves approximately 100,000 active members. The society has inducted nearly a million members since its inception in 1984. Awarding over $1.7 million in scholarships to date, NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce. For over 30 years, NTHS has been the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education.

Hampton inductees include: Jacob Faytik, Madalyn Isaac, Ryan Kozlowksi, Leah Skonieczny-Harlan and Daniel Dickson. The inductees were joined by current NTHS members Kathleen Orban, Nicole Schirra, Shea Spiker and Nate Tabon, who presented the history of the organization and the meaning  of the NTHS logo.

Inductees also reviewed the seven member attributes:

  • Leadership
  • Scholarship
  • Skills
  • Honesty
  • Citizenship
  • Service
  • Responsibility.

The ceremony concluded with a candle-lighting ceremony.

Congratulations to our students!
