Hampton Middle School has been using a very effective tool known as the Anonymous Bullying Report form for many years now. It provides an opportunity for students to report bullying to a counselor when they are not comfortable speaking directly to an adult. These forms are available by clicking on the link above as well as in hard copy from both the main office and Guidance office in the Middle School. Students may turn in completed forms to any adult in the building or by dropping it off in either office. The school counselors will continue to be a resource to students to discuss bullying situations and will continue to work towards making HMS a safe place for all students.
We are also very excited to continue implementing a school-wide bully prevention program at HMS. Over the past number of years, HMS faculty, staff, students, and parents have worked to develop a school-wide bully prevention plan to assist in changing our school culture and ultimately reduce bullying behaviors. HMS's bully prevention plan is modeled after the Olweus Bully Prevention Program, an internationally research-based program.
With all HMS faculty and staff, students, parents, and community members working together, we can make our school the BEST school!
