Fridley Field will be closed to the public from Monday, June 10, 2019 through Friday, August 9, 2019 to accommodate the replacement of the track surface and the artificial turf. The District recognizes the value of the field/track being open to the Hampton community and apologizes for the inconvenience.

The 2019-2020 HTSD Property Tax Rebate Program opens in July 2019 and runs through April 30, 2020. This year, the School Board approved an increase to the maximum income guideline to $28,000.

The 2019 Commencement Ceremony is planned for 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 6 at Fridley Field. The ceremony is held outdoors in order to accommodate the maximum number of family and friends of graduates who wish to attend to the ceremony.

Kindergartner Evelyn Mascaro, first grader Elijah Wharton and third grader Lily Haberman have been named finalists in the 2019 WQED Writers Contest. They are three of 27 finalists in this year's contest for students in grades K-5. The contest is sponsored by the EQT Foundation.

In the session, Superintendent Dr. Michael Loughead, and Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Dr. Jackie Removcik, discuss Hampton's move to and implementation of the Understanding by Design framework, which has served to make the District more competitive.
