Pardon Our Pride . . .

At Hampton High School, real-world learning is brought into the classroom on a daily basis. The school’s application of the Rigor, Relevance and Relationship Framework has caught the attention of other schools nationwide, which have sought to replicate the success experienced at Hampton. Some examples of how our students have excelled over the last year can be found here.

Don't Forget:

March 2020
Posted 03/18/2020 04:00PM

Pitt's Civil Engineering Day, previously scheduled for Saturday, March 28 at Benedum Hall, has been cancelled.  No further information is available at this time

Rosedale Tech's Open House, previously scheduled for Saturday, March 28, has been postponed.  No further information is available at this time.

The All Service Academies and Senior Military College Admissions Seminar, previously scheduled for April 2 at the North Hills Middle School Auditorium has been cancelled.  This event was geared for students in grades 8 - 11.  A fall event is scheduled for October 15 at Franklin Regional School District.  Additional information will be provided at a later date.

The following is a message from Jason Watkins, Principal of E.W. Beattie:

Prior to the decision made by Governor Wolf on Friday March 13, we had put together a plan to communicate to students through their Beattie email. We will be using their Beattie email as the mode of delivery for the enrichment lessons. As most of our curriculum is hands on and competency based, this does pose unique challenges. However, through discussions with our teachers, they have come up with meaningful and creative alternatives for enrichment lessons.

Additionally, we have very little information about NOCTI testing. The written exam was to occur March 30-April 3 and the performance exam shortly following on April 29 and 30. We will send out information to our districts, students and parents as soon as it is available.

Kennywood has made the decision to cancel ALL in-school ticket sales for 2020. They will not be rescheduling any ticket sale dates. Tickets will still be available on the personalized URL that Hampton has been assigned. Kennywood is adjusting the price online to meet the same value as a ticket sold at school. In the occasion that Kennywood does not proceed with its current operating schedule, they will be in contact with the district to reschedule our picnic date currently scheduled for June 16.
