Given the current social distancing requirements that are in effect, the Hampton Township School District will offer a webinar style meeting format in lieu of the regularly scheduled school board work session. This format will offer board members and attendees the opportunity to remotely participate in the school board work session that would normally be held in the Dr. Harold Sarver Memorial Library at Hampton Middle School. All members of the community will need to register for the meeting in order to participate. Please use the below link to register.

Dear Hampton Families,
I wanted to take this opportunity to inform you that Governor Wolf has extended his order to close all K-12 Pennsylvania schools “until further notice” amid concerns regarding the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Hampton schools had planned to remain closed until April 14, 2020.
The District’s closure will now extend at least until the statewide closure expires. Also, as the stay-at-home order was extended for Allegheny County, all HTSD facilities, including district buildings and athletic fields are closed until further notice.
We will continue to utilize our Remote Learning Days during the closure. As you may recall, every Wednesday will be a Talbot Paws day. On a Paws day, students could be engaging in make-up assignments or receiving teacher guidance on assignment completion. However, no new instruction or new assignments will occur on these days. We believe this mid-week pause will be beneficial to students and teachers as we proceed with this extended closure.
Please note that the District will hold its Spring Break, in accordance with the approved 2019-2020 School Calendar, which calls for vacation days on Thursday April 9, Friday, April 10 and Monday, April 13. There will be no remote learning instruction or assignments for students on these dates.
We will continue to monitor all available sources of information related to this school closure and the stay-at-home order and update you immediately if more information becomes available.
Please stay healthy, safe and strong.
Dr. Michael R. Loughead
