During these challenging times for school districts, safety remains a top priority. As such, the Hampton Township School District, in partnership with the Township of Hampton, will provide a safety and security presentation on Monday, March 12, 2018. The presentation will take place during the regularly-scheduled School Board meeting, and begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Dr. Harold Sarver Memorial Library, HMS.
Dr. Rebecca Cunningham, Assistant Superintendent, will provide an overview of the processes and procedures the Hampton Township School District has in place to handle emergency situations. Joining her in her presentation will be Hampton Township Chief of Police Tom Vulakovich and Hampton Township Police Officer Aaron Zola, who is assigned as the District’s school resource officer. The trio will speak to the ways in which the District and Township are working cooperatively to ensure the safety and security of our children.
While there will be an opportunity for public comment at the beginning and end of the presentation, questions from audience members will not be taken during the presentation.
The Township will host the same presentation at its March 14th meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Hampton Township Council Chambers.
