Winter is upon us, and the Hampton Township School District would like to take this opportunity to remind parents of the District's policies and procedures pertaining to the delay or cancellation of the school day.
The safety of our students and staff is important. When severe weather strikes, the decision to delay or cancel classes is taken seriously. The current road and weather conditions, temperature and wind-chill factor and the day's predicted forecast are all taken into account before a decision to delay or cancel is made.
Weather delays and cancellations will be listed on the District website and social media accounts, as well as sent through the Infinite Campus parent portal.
