Talbot Thon
The annual Talbot Thon fundraiser event returns to Hampton High School on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 3:30 to 11 p.m.
Proceeds from the event benefit UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh's pediatric cancer treatment and research. HHS Student Council is partnering with Pitt Dance Marathon to organize the event, with a goal of raising $30,000 this year.
The event spans eight hours of fun and fundraising. Student attendees compete in various events, including dodgeball, volleyball, food-eating contests, lip-sync battles, yard games, and several others, all in the name of raising funds.
Community hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. During this time, all Hampton families and community members are invited to eat, play games, and watch the competitions. A basket raffle will also be held for community members, students, and their families to purchase tickets for a chance to win.
