HHS to present 2025 spring musical 'Hadestown: Teen Edition'

Hampton High School’s annual spring musical is almost here! Come and join us for a journey as we go ‘way down, to Hadestown, way down under the ground!’
 
Welcome to Hadestown: Teen Edition, where a song can change your fate. This acclaimed musical is a love story for today… and always.

Hadestown: Teen Edition intertwines two mythic tales — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone—as it invites you on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. The beguiling melodies and pure poetic imagination pit industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.  Hadestown, winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, is a haunting and hopeful theatrical experience that grabs you and never lets go.
 
Performance dates are April 4, 5, 11 & 12 with lobby opening at 6:30 p.m. and curtain at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at www.hamptoncats.org for online purchase and are $12, plus a $1.20 online transaction fee. Otherwise, they can be purchased at the door on performance nights.
