HMS students donate to Paws Across Pittsburgh

Zachary D'Amico

Student leaders from Hampton Middle School in the Talbot Library Crew and Student Council partnered to organize a fundraiser for Paws Across Pittsburgh, an organization which strives to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving forever homes for abused, neglected, or abandoned dogs and cats.

On June 2, some of the student organizers presented a $638.00 donation to Paws Across Pittsburgh.

Students created a promo video, designed a cart, and sold treats during lunch and tutorial periods to raise money for the donation. With much appreciation for student efforts, Paws Across Pittsburgh will use this donation to help fund a new rescue vehicle, enabling them to help more animals in need.
