Day-to-Day Substitute Teacher Program

Thank you for your interest in being a day-to-day substitute teacher within the Hampton Township School District. Day-to-day substitute teachers are an important part of our school district. 

In order to streamline the application process for day-to-day substitute teachers, we have contracted with the Northern Area Substitute Services (NASS) which allows PA certified teachers and licensed nurses to complete one application to work at both Hampton Township School District and the North Allegheny School District.

Open Interviews: Certified Day to Day Substitute Teachers for Hampton Township and North Allegheny School Districts

Are you a prospective or recent graduate looking to start your career in teaching? Would you like to be a day-to-day substitute teacher for Hampton Township School District and/or North Allegheny School District?

Welcome to the Northern Area Substitute Services (NASS)!  We provide substitute teachers to Hampton Township and NOrth Allegheny School Districts.

Apply and sign-up for one of our certified substitute teacher open interview time slots! Interviews will be conducted on Sept. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at North Allegheny School District’s Central Administrative Office, located at 200 Hillvue Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

We are hosting open interviews for all PA Teaching Certified candidates for Certified Substitute Teacher positions (placeholder letters accepted) only!

Guest Substitute Teacher Program

Great schools need great teachers.  If you are thinking about a career in education, returning to the workforce, or looking to work with children, the Hampton Township School District invites you to apply for the Guest Substitute Teacher program.  A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; experience working in schools or with children is preferred. Schedules are flexible based on your availability.

Applications are now being accepted for the Fall 2024 Cohort. Applications are due by Sept. 12.

Day-to-Day Custodial Substitutes

Custodial Application — Hampton Township School District is currently seeking applicants for Day-to-Day Custodial Substitutes.  An application may be downloaded utilizing the link above or by contacting Mrs. Michelle Ambrose at 412-492-6307. Completed applications may be returned to Mrs. Ambrose's attention at the District's Administration Center, 4591 School Drive, Allison Park, PA 15101.
