The Hampton Middle School Yearbook is a hardbound, 68-page, glossy, color and black-and-white print book that contains formal portraits of all middle school students, all adult personnel, and groups/clubs/teams. In addition, the book captures memories through candid photos of special events that occur throughout year.
Student editors, typically three or four students, are members of the current year's 8th grade class. They are selected during the preceding spring when they are completing 7th grade. Students are expected to make yearbook their priority and not to join competing activities. Meetings are held on Mondays after school and staff members need to be able to communicate with one another as editorial decisions are made.
The publisher of the yearbook is Jostens. Orders can be placed directly with Jostens online, via fax, via conventional mail, or via 800-number, from October through the end of January of each academic year to guarantee the mid-May delivery of a yearbook for students who have placed orders.
