The annual Talbot Challenge will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Fridley Field. Admission is $1.

The Talbot Challenge is a fun field-day event designed to get students and staff pumped up for the start of the new school year. The Hampton Marching Band will start off the night with its halftime performance -- a tribute to The Beatles -- followed by students participating in wacky relay games, the limbo and a pie-eating contest.

This year's event is sponsored by the Hampton High School Parent Faculty Association (PFA).
