July 30: Joanne Pikur Scholarship Golf Outing

The first annual charity golf outing – benefiting The Joanne Pikur Scholarship Fund – will be held from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 30, at Conley Resort, 740 Pittsburgh Road, Butler.

The scholarship was established by a group of Ms. Pikur’s colleagues in the District as a way to honor their friend and coworker. Ms. Pikur served as the physical education teacher at Central Elementary School for 35 years. She passed away in November from cancer.
