2017 Prom Registration and Information

The 2017 PROM & AFTER-PROM will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017. Prom-Walk will begin at 6 p.m. in the Hampton High School auditorium, with registration starting at 5:45 p.m. at the band room doors. This year's prom, "Oh, What a Night," will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh. Following prom, students may participate in this year’s after-prom, "Hampton invades ‘da Burg," which runs from 11 p.m. through 3 a.m. at the high school. For a full schedule of events, please see Schedule of Events. Please note: there will be no early dismissals from the after-prom.


Everyone must register for Prom tickets online. To register, visit this site, where students will be prompted to login with their hamptontalbots.org Gmail account. Complete the registration. Download a Prom Guest Registration Form here if necessary, and return it at the time of ticket purchase. No tickets will be valid unless all information is completed. Be sure to include a copy of a current photo ID if your guest is not a Hampton High School student. Students who register online from April 7-18 must return their Prom Guest Registration Form to Mrs. Taylor in Room E-515 no later than April 19, 2017.

In order to attend Prom, all Prom participants must arrive at the Omni William Penn via a contracted carrier, parent driver, or the bus provided by the District. No prom participant may drive to the Omni William Penn. Prom participants who fail to adhere to the rules regarding transportation to and from prom will not be permitted to attend prom and will not be entitled to any reimbursement. All prom participants must be dropped off and picked up at the designated hotel entrance.


Tickets for prom will be sold Monday, April 3, 2017 through Thursday, April 6, 2017 during all lunch periods (periods 5, 6, and 7) in the high school cafeteria. The cost is $160.00 per couple ($80.00 for a single) and includes dinner and dancing at the Omni William Penn, a bus to and from the Omni William Penn, and the ticket for after-prom. Tickets purchased after 12:49 pm on April 6, 2017 must be done so online until Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 9:00 pm. These tickets will include an additional processing fee.


Tickets sold April 3-6 may be purchased by check or money order, no cash will be accepted. Please have the check or money order made out to Hampton Township School District. Tickets sold after April 6 and through April 19 must be purchased online with a valid credit card. All tickets must be purchased by a Hampton High School junior or senior only.

The meal for the evening will consist of a house salad with a choice of dressing, an entrée selection, and a white and dark chocolate layered mousse with whipped cream. Please choose one entrée per person. Note: once you have made the selection you may not change it.

Entrée #1 Chicken marsala – sautéed boneless chicken breast, onions and mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce

Entrée #2 Pasta Primavera, light cream sauce, fresh garden vegetables

Prom is chaperoned by the Hampton High School Administration and Faculty; after-prom is chaperoned by the Parent-Faculty Association. The supervision by the chaperones begins when the students enter prom or after-prom and ends upon departure. All rules and regulations outlined in the student handbook must be adhered to throughout the evening. Formal attire is required for prom. Seating will be at tables of 10 or 12. Table sign-up will be the week of ticket sales. Please pick up a table assignment form when ticket is purchased or outside of room E-515. Forms are due no later than 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 to Mrs. Taylor in room E-515.

After-Prom: Students are permitted to change clothes this year. Students must bring a change of clothes on Thursday, April 27 so the parents can go through the clothes and make sure what is brought in is appropriate. Dress code for After Prom follows the school dress code. There will be a room in which students can change - one for guys and one for girls, with a chaperone in each one. Clothes will then be hung near the exit door so students can grab them as they are leaving.
